Sure, sometimes a little love potion is required to make sure those quotas stay up, but what Prince Charming doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
Kate, an experienced Fairy Godmother, who’s enough of a romantic to frustrate her rigidly rule-bound boss, has just received a specialty assignment from one of the company’s board of directors. Cinderella—Rellie for short—was placed with an appropriately wicked stepfamily years before, and now needs the dress, ball, and handsome prince to complete her happily-ever-after. The fact that Rellie isn’t sure this is her dream come true—balls are fun, but princes tend to be less interesting than fluffy bunnies—isn’t something management considers a problem.
Complicating things a bit is Jon, the youngest son of the royal family, who meets Kate, and is smitten, but isn’t quite ready yet to reveal his true identity. After all, it’s his older brother Rupert who’s supposed to marry Rellie, which means pretending to be a lowly civil servant will give him the chance to spend more time with Kate. (As long as he can get the ball arranged, and stop Rupert from getting himself into trouble over his “self-actualization” business, he should have the perfect opportunity to explain everything and get started on making a little magic with the Fairy Godmother of his dreams.)
But, of course, things never ever happen as planned.
My Review
5 of 5 Fairy Godmother's
First off I have to say that this book was HILARIOUS! I have never ever laughed so dam hard in my life. My ribs were killing me by the end of this book and boy oh boy what a fast read it became because I could not put it down that is how good it is. I also have to say that the book cover is so eye catching and so on point that when you read the book and get to the part where the cover comes into play you are going to laugh like I did.
Kate is a Fairy Godmother and she works for the best agency around called Fairy Godmothers, INC. She is a godmother who grants princesses their wishes and makes sure they get everything they have dreamed of and more. Kate's boss is a little eccentric to say the least but she is a mean boss to the core and she gives Kate an assignment with the thought's that Kate is going to fail. Who does that as a boss. Kate is assigned to help out Rellie who is a cute girl who is forced to work as a slave for her step mother. Rellie is a little on the dense side and when Kate approaches her in regards to her dream man and what she wants the response Kate gets rocks her world. See because Rellie wants a bunch of bunnies instead of a man. WTH is that all about... lord have mercy this Rellie is really trying. But what is worse is the guy Rellie is going to be paired with is not ripe apple if you know what I mean.
Rupert dear God Rupert is just as dense as Rellie and his younger brother John has to take care of the kingdom other wise there would be no kingdom and all would be lost for them. As John helps Kate get Rellie and Rupert together John falls in love with Kate. He is hoping to get his brother married off ASAP so he can spend time Kate. But just as they get one thing under control someone else or something else stands in their way. Will Kate and John ever get Rellie and Rupert married? Or will something else happen? Will John and Kate ever get some alone time to be with one another? Will they be pulled apart? This is a must read that will have you in stitches!
